  1. Those look good. I was having the same issue with the tips and oiled them up with worm oil and the tips started filling out better. I'm also going to make a green pumpkin/bubble gum laminate craw when I get a chance.
  2. I've been looking for something like a Zoom Mag II since I started pouring. This is my go to worm and from what I can see there is not any molds out there like it. It's a flat sider with a very thin tail and narrow body. I am pretty sure it is not patented because Zoom usually puts the patent or patent pending number on the label if it is. Anyone know where I can get an injection or hand pour mold similar to the Mag II? Like it has been stated, it has a different action, especially when sinking, than round worms. Yes, I do buy several of the colors, but many of the colors I use to use have been discontinued.
  3. I could spend all day looking thru Reds molds.
  4. That would be a 912. Caught more bass on that on then all other yamamoto senko colors combine. The watermelon side has some chartreuse in it. My buddy makes one that is pretty close but the recipe is mind boggling. I agree that close counts.
  5. Started injecting about 3 weeks ago as a hobby and ran into an issue when I reordered colorants from the same supplier. The first colorants I bought were in 1oz bottles. I used 24 drops of one color and 8 drops of another color in a Junebug recipe in 6oz of plastic along with stabilizer and glitter. Repeatedly made this recipe with very consistent results until the primary colorant was gone so I reordered a pint of each of the colorants from the same manufacturer to save some money. Now I can't get the color back. I've attempted thoroughly mixing the colorants by violent shaking the pint containers before transferring to smaller containers. No luck so far. Going to add a nut to the pint and see if that helps mix it better. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Has anyone had experience using the Do-it Essentials sand cast molds? I realize the detail may be a little "fuzzy" but other than that do they inject well, realize the baits well, and hold up to repeated use? Thank you for your responses and Merry Christmas.

  20. I want to do a one piece or maybe a two piece POP mold of a fluke and need some advice on how to put in the hook slit. I was thinking of just using a divider from a plano tackle box but not sure it will stand up to the heat and that it will remain straight. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you,
  21. Newbie question - What are runners? Thank you.
  22. OK. I am very new to this and I am sure this is a very ignorant question which will give many of you a good laugh. That's OK, I am laughing with you. Can you make a worm mold out of Great Stuff or DAP expandable foam? Thought it might be a very simple and quick way to experiment with some prototypes. Thank you
  23. Mend-It works great in gluing parts from different worms.
  24. Mark, Great photos to go with your detail description of the process. I really appreciate it and plan to give it a try soon. Thank s.
