I'm talking about the resin that the whole bait is made of. I do use a lot of Devon 2T for various uses. I have silicone rubber molds and was wondering if there was a tougher resin
Is there a better resin for jointed swim baits (screw eye/pin method) than alumilite or smooth on, etc. looking for a tough resin. The above mentioned may be tough enough. Just wondering if there was anything else out there. Thanks
One piece or two piece molds? I would be interested in seeing your molds if you don't mind. Thanks for all of your input. This feels like an overwhelming process. I am not sure where to go now. I think I will go ahead and do as you say and cut my baits into the 4 segments and do all of the hardwarde holes and then mold each section seperately. Do you think this would be ok?
Thanks for the advice Quickdraw. Do you mold each section or mold the whole bait and cut it after you mold it. Do you use one piece or two piece molds?
Hello TU community, I am trying my hand at swimbaits and have my prototype nearly completed. I was thinking of using Alumilite or another resin but am unsure of which way to go. Is the PVC method just as good as resin?
I am searching for some foil to replicate a bait i am having success with. It appears to have a holographic foil or holographic paint on the sides. I cant seem to locate any. Could someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.
