If I only had one to choose it would be the bandsaw. Probably 10" or could go 12". Smaller is easier to move around. My .02 Cents.

I just bought an old Craftsman scroll saw for my kid. The band saw scares me a bit with him. He's autistic and his coordination is not the best. Scroll saw is a little bit slow but works great. I am using the plastic deck board and it cuts really nice. Minimal clean up afterwards. We paid $70 for ours. I'm sure it would cut lexan just fine. I use an oscillating spindle sander to clean up, sometimes a small disk sander.

2 orders and 0 problems. Fast and correct. No complaints on quality either.
