  1. I use some left over ceramic tiles I had lying around to put under my pot and set my molds down on.
  2. You can get the iwata eclipse bs .35 tip on Amazon for 99$ and 4$ shipping. That's the one I bought. It seems to work really good. It's the only brush I ever used though so can't really compare it to anything else.
  3. Can't go wrong with a ribbon tail worm.
  4. want to get some feathers for dressing treble hooks just not sure on the best ones to buy or the best place to buy from. Mostly gonna be used on popper style baits. Looked on a couple sites but theres so much to choose from and hard to tell the size of the feathers. Thanks
  5. I always spray worm oil in the injector then use the rod to push a paper towel through it to clean out all the little pieces of plastic left in it.
  6. +1 on the 3.75 702 craw. Makes a good looking bait and catches fish. You can get a claw mold for it too.
  7. I just give the fish what they want. Dont get me wrong, i love to catch fish on my lures but if they'll hit a store bought better thats what ill throw. Its great feelin when im smokin em on one of my baits but to me theres no shame in throwing a zoom plastic or a humdinger spinnerbait if thats what they biting that day. I think of it like this. If only one brand of fishing tackle caught fish all the time, there would be no need or market for all the others.
  8. I have the senko ess. mold also, shoots good but like said above it is not as shiny as a cnc mold, better that a plastic or rubber mold though. You should check out the enforcer baits beaver mold too. I have that one and really like it. Its thinner than a reaction beaver but i just find its helps you get a better hookset also not as bulky when used as a jig trailer.
  9. I know i could make one from scratch for cheaper but i just like the shine you get from the cnc molds plus i could always remove the insert and make some paddle tail worms.
  10. Now that looks like a good fish catching color. Love the gold with the orange belly on a cloudy day.
  11. That's a really good idea sounds like a cheap way to have a semi custom mold. This thread has giving me some inspiration. Funny how some of the simplest fixes never cross your mind. Now all I need is a good paddle tail worm mold.
  12. I just don't see how these "real" looking Craws would be better at catching fish than the 702 craw, rage or speed craw. Just looking at them I don't see where you get any action from. I know where I fish the 702 and zoom speed craw outfish the the zoom critter craw( I think that's what it's called) which has more realistic claws on it. Now where I fish is mainly rivers, marshes, bayous and oilfield canals all tidal waters so we don't have that ultra clear water some of you guys fish a lot. If I am wrong please enlighten me as I am always lookin for a way to catch more fish. They sure do look pretty though.
  13. I think the scratches come from stirring with metal utensils.

    Doh!

when we renovated the kitchen i put the old island in the shop works great even has a ceramic top so i can put all the hot stuff on it without burning or melting anything. Also the miter saw got demoted to the shelf so i could use that table too. I guess you can never have too many tables.
