  1. I have angling a.i tube molds and they perform great.
  2. After cutting tubes with a blade block and a mallet for the last couple years. I talked to a buddy of mine who owns a machine shop and he hooked me up. Only thing I had to pay for out of pocket was the press and blade block.
  3. that Basstackle HDX craw can be deadly on a finesse jig on rip rap with a little dot of orange spike it on the end of the claws. It is my go to finesse jig trailer, and that's really all I use it for. And the 702 is a proven fish catcher.
  4. I have never had a problem with it.

    Tube Molds

I got tired of cutting them by hand with the lurecraft cutter. So I went to Harbor Frieght and purchased a Arbor Press. It was on sale for around $40. A bass club buddy owns a machine shop. He attached the blade block to the press. Also made it removable. I have not picked it up from him yet or tried it, but it should make cutting go much much easier and quicker.
  8. thanks for the pic. exactly what I was looking for.
  9. Does anyone have a picture of a Angling AI 2.75 bait? I want the mold, but I am not sure if I will like the double dip. Looking for more of a slender bait. I already have the 3.5 slender and I love it. Thanks
  10. can you show a pic of how the tin sits in the mold? I have thought of doing this several times, but wasnt sure how to go about injecting it to only one side.
  11. sweet, thanks. How does it shoot?
  12. I am very close to purchasing this mold, I was just wondering how the action is. I am wanting it as a punch bait, and am hoping the legs kick. Any info would be appreciated.
  13. now that I think about it, the times I tried I was shooting the tube with one brand of plastic, and dipping it in a different brand. I'm guessing that was the issue?
  14. That's what I was asking. My problem is the couple times I tried it in the past, the second (outer color) didnt stick to the first color.
  15. how do you shoot a laminate tube?
  16. I have a Tube injection mold from A.I. Say for instance, I want to do an orange inside, and green pumpkin outside color. Can I just inject the orange? Keep them on the rods and just dip in the green pumpkin? do I need the 2nd color to be hotter than normal? I tried this once before about a year ago and the outer color never stuck to the injected color. Any help would be appreciated.
  17. I made baits for 4 years before I bought a dual injector. I found myself not really using it, so I sold it and never thought twice about wanting one again.
  18. I have the 713 and bobs 702 mold. the 702 definitely has more action compared to the 713. The 713 does thump, just not as hard. both great baits and catch fish. And I would sell my 702 mold for $1,000 if you're interested lol.
  19. the bait in person has more of an orange to it then the picture. Start with lots of orange glitter, small amount of black, and if it was me starting out id try some brown an orange colorant till I got close. Add glitter first.
  20. PM sent, thanks. Now I just need this snow to melt and the lakes to become liquefied again.
