  1. So....You had the machine shop bore out the "eye" hole? and also another looks like "separate" (red area)/keeper slot?
  2. Fishermanbt.....That will WORK!!! What type of tools would you recommend to do this modification(s)? Would you part with that mold? Are those modified TRD'S? I tried zman products but they ALWAYS turn out melted when I go to use them (and I had a blacked out tote I kept them in). Thank you so much for the knowledge.
  3. I looked and you were out. I tried. Havent bought yet due to price/instock online.
  4. WOW.....thank you for all the help. I am blown away. Thank you!!! Yes, that is the mold I was going to get. I figured I might have to do some modifications to make that small of a hook work. Not sure what I would need to do but I thought I would be able to figure it out.
  5. Can I use a size 1 hook in this mold without any issues? Thanks.
  6. smalljaw, thanks for getting back with me. I have been looking at the "gamakatsu style" ball head jig...it is designed a little different than regular ball heads with the weight forward and down. It has been an ALL around jighead for me. I use it for finesse swimbaits, regular tubes and shakey head. The Gamakatsu ball head jig mold has a collar which I was hoping to somehow modify to add a wire keeper.
  7. I am new and have never poured jigheads before....so I am gonna learn. I use the gamakatsu ballhead for finesse swimbaits and tubes. so my question is is there a mold that allows me to use a 3/0 or 4/0 hook in various sizes (1/8, 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 oz) in the gamakatsu style ball head jig molds?? looking at a 60 degree flat eye hook and a 90 degree str8 eye hook.
  8. I am not interested in a full titanium wire spinnerbait. a modified .035 frame is what I am intending to use.
  9. I am looking to make my own flexible wire (titanium) spinnerbaits. I am looking for where to get the wire and metal clamp. thanks.
