I joined this forum a few months ago under the advise from members of another one. Guess what? I created an account and within a few days I decided that the rule on pics is to confusing and controversial so I rarely log on here anymore.
I definitely think it’s the chartreuse with a little green Pumpkin as stated above. Can’t tell what color flake it has though. I think I see a little blue in it maybe but who knows without having the actual bait in my hand.
Nope, I can honestly say I’ve never seen lead turn blue like that. I’ve seen some other issues with lead nowadays but not the blue coloring. Really makes me question where I should source your lead from in the future.
Though to tell and there are lots of white reflection spots due to the sun but this bait is more of a purple with blue glitter. I don’t know why ta showing up as dark as it is but hey I was more interested in showing off the baits flexibility. These things love to undulate and quiver on the fall.
These will go to good use. I made a couple dozen up and hung them to cure. Should be catching fish on Sunday. Tested a couple of them out and they definitely got the quiver. Also I had the idea to make a batch of the same color but added some hardener to it. Then made a soft batch same color and shot it first then cut the side of the worm with the round middle off. Shot the harder plastic and again cut the sprue side of the worm off then followed it up with the soft again. Yeah lots of work but hey it’s a hobby. Should make for a durable worm and not hurt the action one bit.
It’s basically a chartreuse pepper color with probably 3-5 drops green pumpkin and some .40 hex chartreuse glitter. I made it by accident so I have saved some so I can go back and perfect the formula. When I do I can message you if you’d like.
