  1. As has been mentioned already. Angling AI molds shoot great. I have several of his molds and I'll probably pick up some more. My focus currently is on my own custom designs but Josh does great work.
  2. Yes, Jeff Piil is a Calhoun distributor in Somerville, Texas. He buys drums directly from Calhoun and breaks them down in smaller amounts, (5 gallon buckets), and sells them. I've been to his place and bought 15 gallons, price is good if you pick it up. Otherwise it's about the same as buying it from any other online retailer. I've since started buying drums directly from Calhoun and even with shipping it comes out much cheaper than buying from anyone online, BUT, of course you have to be able to purchase a drum in the first place.
  3. How long ago did you send it? When I bought my Shooting Star sometimes it took a little bit for them to reply but they always did. They are closed on Mondays so if you sent it over the weekend or on a Thursday or Friday it may not be until Tuesday before you get a reply.
  4. Thanks SoCal! I dump my leftovers into the bags and use them for remelts when just messing around or making some small batches to actually go fishing with.
  5. I've also tried dipping but I just don't like the way it looks. So when I had my custom molds made I had separate molds made specifically for the tails. They look so much better and work great!
  6. Here’s mine. The color and glitter rack is just to left of the workbench.
  7. This is how we do ours. The bags are from ClearBags and I think we had the labels made from Vista Print.
  8. I've caught cats on wooly buggers in a local park lake. Thought I hooked a huge bass at first. I was disappointed.
  9. I have an aluminum mold made by Ross and Custom Bait Molds and it's fantastic. I sent him a 3D model I designed in an AutoCAD program. He imported the file and laid out the mold then sent it to his CNC machine and cut it from a block of aluminum. He actually made me 2 identical molds and then a tail mold for the baits. The molds are single injection port, 8 cavity molds. The tail mold is a 16 cavity mold. The mold shoots great and I will get many thousands of baits from the mold for my company.
  10. Not to mention that the molds for a machine like that are $6k plus!
  11. Hey guys, another new guy here! Sorry to drag up an old post but I came across it while googling the FET tax. Is this tax stacked on top of whatever local sales tax that we have? So, if we have a FET of %10 and we also have a local sales tax of %8.25, they stack, right? It's just going to get rolled into the cost of the product but I'm just trying to wrap my head around it all before we get off the ground.
