    Lead Molds and Hooks

How do you see the pictures? I see a URL and am signed in but don't see what's for sale
  2. Thanks all! I will check it out
  3. Does anyone know what mold these are made from?
  4. Looking for dual injectors, prefer bass tackle. Also looking for injection 3.75" tube molds (no tail, just straight tubes. Prefer AI)
  5. Hey Les, not looking to salt any of the tubes. I'm actually looking at your pictures to see the "taper" that the double dipper is supposed to have but I just don't see much. Josh at AI wrote me back via FB and told me that the DD has a .550 and the slender is .440. I really am not looking for any taper in my baits either so not sure at this point. Thanks for the shots though, appreciate the picture .
  6. Looks like it has no taper. Is it the slender version?
  7. Do you have that mold Les? Do you sell your baits?
  8. Is that the 3.75" double dip mold? not the slender or anything? I love your work, have purchased many at Sav-On
  9. Cool, so 2oz of each color will do it for a laminate. Thank you
  10. Well I don't know anyones name there but I filled out the contact form with the question. No response. So I thought I would ask here
  11. Curious if anyone knows how many ounces it takes to inject the five cavity Angling AI tube mold. Trying to work up a cost per run. 737DD-05 3.75" Double Dipper Mold Thanks for any help
  12. Sure, not saying that I will never order from them again. If I can get it elsewhere, I just will.
  13. All I can say is congrats to all who have had a great experience with them. I assumed as much and have stated it several times. To all who do not understand my point or are not seeing it as I am, that is fine as well. I encourage you all to use them to your heart's content. I posted my opinion based on the experience I have had with them and will continue to do so just likely on other sites. Simple enough.
  14. No, the package is scheduled for delivery on Friday not that there was a mishap and there were unexpected delays. That's different
  15. Sure thing, since you run a business I am sure you understand then that what you present on your site, advertising or labeling is your responsibility and is part of your business. Again, the options on the shipping pull down menu on their website clearly identified Priority 2-day that cost more than the standard. The receipt I was emailed from the company clearly shows Priority 2-day, again with an increase in the cost. My thoughts are as a customer is that I made a purchase that will get to me in 2 days with a reasonable understanding that I ordered it on a holiday weekend and it would not ship until Monday. If you are of the understanding that I am being unreasonable, then that is fine. I paid for 2 day, I was confirmed 2 day but it is going to take 4 and it's some other entities fault. I did not choose this entity, the company did. I made no arrangements with this entity, the company did. I did not program their website to show 2 day, the company did or had someone do it. I did not send a confirmation with 2 day, the company did. Again, you may have your thoughts, I have mine.
  16. So you can do what with them? Nothing will come of showing you anything. My order will not go any faster and how will my experience will change? My thoughts about the company will change somehow?
  17. I thought you may have some affiliation with them, from Georgia and all and you literally just quoted them. All good. USPS Priority mail clearly indicates on USPS to take 1-3 days. When I ordered it said 2 day, when I received the receipt it said 2 day. Sure it may be an estimate but going from 2 days to 4 is unreasonable. Again, understood I could be the anomaly since I am new and you all seem to enjoy them. So go ahead, I am noting my experience and my own thoughts about the company
  18. Placed an order on Friday. Of course I knew it would not ship before Monday. Holiday weekend and all. Had it shipped Priority 2day as noted on the site, on the options and on the receipt they emailed me. When I got the tracking it said expected delivery is on Friday. I questioned them and the CS manager sent me back an email basically blowing me off saying they sent it as they should. Followed up again pointing out the same info I just mentioned above and again, she blew me off and told me I might want to contact USPS. Customer service is complete trash as I thought it might be and I won't get my stuff until Friday. Good lesson learned with dealing with them. I fully understand that a bunch of you all use their stuff all over the place and since I am new to this am the outlier but I will prefer to send my orders elsewhere where I can.
  19. I would go for Lurecraft myself. I had good luck with them in the past. I just placed my first order with Lureworks and they screwed up my shipping so far it looks like their customer service is trash.
  20. Hi JG, did you make these using the injector mold method? I think I can see the "step" that those molds have in them.
  21. Cool! I will check it out. Thank you
  22. I actually have a sample but it is pretty beaten up. Thing is, I don't know what I am looking at with the ingredients. This is why I found a pic of what I was trying for (just in another form) online and posted it here.
  23. Wow! Thank you for the info. I am still testing and playing around with colors as I venture into this new hobby. I don't really know the difference between Hi-Lite and Pearl powders so will do more research on that. I'm thinking that no matter what comes up pearl silver and pearl white are pretty standard in recipes for bait fish imitation that I am mostly going for.
  24. Thank you all for the advice on the laminate process. Curious about how to get those colors the hue they are? I am thinking it is a silver pearl for the grey and maybe a green pearl or a white pearl for the top. It's the shade and cloudiness I am curious about and going after
  25. Hello all, I am trying to dip two color tube baits and was seeing how I can come close to these effects. I am not so much concerned about the technique here, more about how the colors were made. They appear to be less transparent than the bottom layer and thought it was either very, very fine glitter or some pearl powder that I have never used before. Can I get some opinions on how I can make these colors? Thought maybe it is a white pearl powder in a color like chartreuse for one and grey / silver for the other? Thank you for any help
