  1. Hey just wondering if anyone knows the type of rubber or plastic used to make the big Huddleston. Looking for something pourable that is two part but not silicone
  2. If you want to paint using and airbrush iwata makes really good air brushes and some are starter kits that come with a compressor as well. for paint I use createx airbrush colors or their wicked series, if you’re shooting under 30 psi like I am it’s good to get the createx reducer to add in and thin the paint a little. You can also use these with a paint brush for making eyes or doing more detailed work as well. The last thing really needed to get started is airbrush cleaner. It’s best to use the same brand as your airbrush gun. I clean in before using, in between colors, and after. This helps clear and break up any paint that may get trapped in the gun.
  3. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that has posted on here with ideas and proven ways that have helped them. I started making lures a couple months ago and have been doing it pretty much on my own trying to find new ways of making them. I’m super stoked about this community and can’t wait to pass on some of the info you guys have given me to others in the future
  4. I’m looking for something that adds a good detail feature but is soft enough that if it gets bit it won’t stop the fish from raching the hooks or fall out. I tried some smooth on but it came out after 20 cast (probably because I didn’t connect it very well) but it also was beginning to tear before that. Thank you for the response I’ll definitely look into the allumilite products as well
  5. Thank you! I’m gonna try the silicone place mats that will probably be exactly what I’m looking for. Want it to look good but still add a little bit of action as well
  6. Thanks you for the response. I ordered some gan craft replacements but would like to poor my own if I can find the right material
  7. Hey, not sure if there is already a discussion going about this but I’ve been having trouble finding a good material for tail fins. I’ve tried silicone, soft plastic, and paint brush bristles but haven’t had the outcome I’ve wanted. If you have any information on what to use please let me know
