Thanks for update, cadman. The jump rings I had were the only ones I was aware of ad could find....at a hobby store. They were indeed quite wea and eve before I used them I was suspicious of they're ability over the short term. Went back to split rings. Splurged for a quality split ring pliers to make life easier.

Re using jump rings for attaching blades....I tried this last yr and pitched all the remaining jump rings. They do not hold blades well at all; I made and fished with several ponyheads only to find the blade will eventualy fall off during use. The ring is still there but no blade.
  3. Should have done this before posting my question....here is the reply I got from Pro Tech Coatings staff: "Our Yellow Chartreuse (02), Green Chartreuse (03), Blaze Orange (04), Hot Pink (06), Flame Red (07) and Bright Green (11) are all fluorescent colors in our Pro-Tec powder paint line." powder
  4. I've used the PT Glow (with mixed results, prob a topic for another thread) and aware of the UV coat. They use some adjectives to suggest fluorescent but none are labeled specifically as such. Any recs for other manufacturers? Thanks for your reply.
  5. Been using these paints for smallie jigs but now looking at walleye and crappie. None of the listed ProTecs specifically call them fluorescent. Are there just no fluorescent powder paints?
  6. I recently contacted Do It about an out of production mold I received asking them what the weights of sinkers were. Replied that since it was OOP, they didn't know. Struck me as odd. You'd think it be somewhere in the company archives.
  7. Brand new and unopened packages in black, brown and red (which seems to lean more toward a "day-glo" red). In a box of tying material given to me for which I have no use. Will send as you request or cheapest I can find (likely USPS).
