Great idea mark

If your using a sparkie mold and the hook and keeper wire hang out side the mold and wont stay straight flat use another ( blank doit mold ) open it and lay it flat in place blank side up take your sparkle mold lay above it together mold place the hook and keeper in place the hook and keeper shouldn't turn close the sparkie mold it should keep everything in place. Pour your done. Sound like alot of work but it really isn't and it works.

Again blade baits made easy with a few components and skirt material. Either Wire or Hand tied or banded baits what ever you prefer. Made easy the Sparkie head mold will need very little modification to use these components to build these blade bodies. And make the perfect baits a different sizes.

Two items i use that make up my blade bait bodies if you dont have a mold with bait keeper just add a wire bait keeper the third item used. Simple & easy. Use a sparkie head doit mold for the body make a great blade bait body with three item shown. Again simple fast easy.

There are way easier ways to build chatter baits than doing what your doing mark. But then again 21xdc seem to be the expert.

Why would you want to open & close the eye of a hook that been tempered I pour & build 100s of these types of baits every month with the traditional mustad 4/0 & 5/0 spinnerbait hook and there very sharp & use the open eyelet ive never had to replace a bait because of failure or a blade or skirt coming off. All the picture I've posted with the hardware its easy to make them yourself. I have custom molds yes there different but the head of the bait is still the same. The sparkie head mold is one of the easiest to use with very few modifications to the mold to use. Poison tail jig mold why because there eye sockets to put eyes in. The fish dont care about the eyes or the hook shape. -
I personally I dont give a dam how many post you have on either website i still doesn't make you and expert. I dont clam to be one myself. So dont think you are.

You cant intimidated me and your truly mistaken if you think you can. You tried that in bass boat central both you and your buddy mark that also didn't work either. If you simply dont like what I post just dont comment on it.

21dcx Billy Westmoreland use to send me silver buddies in different sizes. In return i would send him my puffball jigs and Lion collar jigs but that was years ago before he passed in 2002. He love fishing both styles of jigs on Dale Hollow.

So what are the advantages of a bobbin in tying bass jigs. I dont use them for the simple fact they get in the way of tying period. when your using regular skirted jigs in silicone or round rubber or even bucktail. I pour and build 1000s of custom jigs a year for my customers and have been doing it since 1977. My business was always done well on all the baits I build. If it doesn't work for you then add a bobbin and glue. Ill pass.
