Question On Bright Powder Paints

Recommended Posts

I have started using some of the brighter powder paints (blaze orange, flame red). I was wondering whether you guys recommend putting on a white base coat before the color? I do notice that to get good color - it does take at least 2-3 coats of the color (e.g. blaze orange) when not using a white base coat. I was wondering whetehr a white base coat might help.

Thanks,

Pete

Thanks. I thought that would help. I was just painting a few, but after I started I realized that I probably should have done a white base coat. I remembered that for fome of the fluorescent colors, but it took paining a few of the orange to make me realize that a base coat might help there, too.

Thanks for the help.

Pete
