cutting tubes

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering what everyone is using underneath their tubes as they cut them using a angling A.I type cutter. I have no problem hitting the cutter with a mallet, but I have no idea what to set the tube on. Best thing I have found so far is a phone book, but I eventually wear that out. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hmm, you know, the solution with this piece of wood is really ingenious. So, you can give me a try if it really works. Not so long ago, I also started developing my own jar crusher. It was interesting to develop your own project. In general, initially I wanted to purchase a beer can crusher. And then I thought that I could, given my education as an engineer, develop it myself. Do you think I can do it? If anyone is interested, I am ready to share my experience. I hope there are those who do the same.

I would love to learn from what you have done.  I’m retired but worked with engineers and learned so many fascinating things.  It was often the best part of my job.
