KBS bubbles

Too many coats too soon... The product needs time to gas off.  Not sure why you want 6 coats. 2 coats, 2hrs apart works fine. Using a brush can also promote bubbles over dipping.

The reason for attempting 6 coats is these are big pike and lake trout lures. Between teeth and hook rash from trolling they take above average abuse

researching what others have used for coats of KBS it seems 4-8 coats is what most using for pike/musky baits. I just split the difference to test

what species are you fishing with 2 coats?

So as we all know kbs unfortunately will bubble on you. Especially if your dipping baits outside and its humid. Well unfortunately for me its always humid cause I live in texas. But there is a pretty easy solution for it. If bubbles do happen just have a torch lighter or heat gun handy. Keep it just far enough away to where you don't burn lure, but close enough for heat to get to clear coat and the bubbles will disappear
