william cohen Posted January 22, 2022 Report Share Posted January 22, 2022 I've been doing a lot of experimenting with different blades and configurations with spinners. At the present time I'm making the lure using it and then tearing the lure down and starting again. Has anyone found a way to keep the lure together without finishing the final loop. This way the lure could be taken apart and put back together with some alterations. I have tried one method suggested on the forum but it didn't work for me. william cohen Posted January 23, 2022 Author Report Share Posted January 23, 2022 If you could find some wire, strip the plastic covering off. cut in thin slices and slide on to the lure wire. you could bend the lure wire to make loop but don't close it? Outlaw4 Posted January 28, 2022 Report Share Posted January 28, 2022 if your talking inline spinners just start them long, and finish the loop eye with one wrap. Cut off re-configure the loop and wrap. The length does not have much of a performance / action effect (at least on musky size stuff, but does have a vibration effect that changes the finished product. I do this ALOT.
