looking for a hook

i have found a Eagle Claw hook #4, 2190, the eyelet is clocked wrong.

i have attache a pic of the hook that is the same shape with the eyelet turned the direction i want.

i thought Mustad use to have one, but i have not found anyting close. does anyone know if there is a hook like what i want. I have seen the hook in a jig, i don't have a pic of it.

That 2190 fits the do it swm-3-a mold. Do you need that same bend which is specific to that mold or can you use something else like a 30 degree jig hook?

yes a 30 might work, 

i need the eyelet turned. if you lay a 2190 on a table the eyelet lays flat on the table.

i am going to make a mold fit the hook, so i am looking or turned eyelet, length and mouth of hook.

i seen a mustad hook years ago that looked like this, it could have been a special order,

so i found a pic with the correct eyelet next to the 2190.

The shank isn’t as long but Owner has a 30degree flat eye jig hook. 5103 is the number. Also Mustad 38108.

thanks, i have the 38108, what i;m lookiing for has to be close to the pic. it has to fit a mold.

all the different kinds and brands and shapes of hooks makes my head spin.

in the pic, the jig on the left is the hook, so someone makes it, unless it it a custom.

Did you try Shorty's hook sales they may be able to locate the hook your looking for.

Looks like a 28 degree bend  Don't say if there bronze or black nickel

Wouldn't that weaken the hook?

You might have to look at hooks for fly fishing / streamers.  Ahrex is a brand that has some "odd" shaped hooks meant for making flys and streamers.  They make a hook I love for little 1/4oz jigs as I wanted the "cross-eye" direction you are looking for.

i think that one is too big also. the one i need is for panfish/crappie. a hook that bends easy. it looks like i will have to go with a custom hook., Thanks

I was going to suggest looking into Fly fishing hooks based on the size.
