Kristian lynch
Hello I'm new to i guess I'll say attempting to make lures.... my grandpa made the most beautiful lures from wood when I was little and unfortunately when dementia sat in and he disappeared so did the art... I've recently purchased a industrial laser cutting machine/engraving machine and want to try and learn myself. I've attempted by drawing out the basic lay out of it and turning it into a cut file but I just can't get it right... so does anyone by chance have a place where I can get templates or deconstructed views of lures?? I really hope this is the right website to ask... the last 3 I tried asking were jerks about it... anyways thanks ahead of time for any and all help!
Big Epp
Would thingverse be helpful? I know they have tons of files for 3d printing. I've used a laser cutter to cut out templates, but never tried to do lure bodies. I thought about using a CNC router, but then moved to an office without one. If you can't find what you're looking for, try picking up a knife and carving some, you might find you like it, and it can be a nostalgic connection with past generations. I know I think about my grandpa a lot while I'm making lures.
