Tackle organizing systems for your boat???

Recommended Posts

Anybody have any suggestions??? I think I might look at the Cook Tackle Systems but would like feedback from naybody on this product or others you may use..

The amount of tackle I have right now is low but soon I will be re-stocking and would like to go about it in an organized fashion (if possible :D )...

There system is nice but you can make it cheaper. All you need is some L (90*) aluminum cut it down to the lengths you need. drill holes on one side 1/2"away from edge about 1/2 apart. them mount to lid of storage area. take no tome if you have a drill press. can be done my hand but takes a little longer. if drilling by hand use a center punch

I use Cook's system and love it! I have them installed inside my rod locker and rear storage. The ones in the rod locker I hold my spinnerbaits and the rear ones hold my jigs. It will hold most spinnerbaits very securely, the only ones I have trouble with are the el cheapo's (thick hooks) and that is due to difficulty getting them in the slots. I don't have a problem with any of them falling out in rough water and I spent 3 years using them on the Potomac and Upper Chesapeake Bay.

Apostle has a good idea but I think he uses his for holding the bags of soft plastics with "shower hooks". Not sure if that will work good for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, and jigs but I could be wrong.
