You could do the carving if you practiced awhile Ben. My first few looked like I did the carving with a rock but as time goes along you get a little better. The hardest part for me is always the mouth. Thank you.

Very cool to see it from different angles. The drop belly and the bottom rib is interesting.

Good looking lure John. That would kill em out west in my home lakes. Steelhead would like that too, throw it out, let it sink then twitch it along the bottom, slam!!

You should be proud of this one. I have built similar lures and know the amount of work that went into this. Well done.

Two ton has its place and so does the auto clear.......for a bass lure like this one the auto clear makes sense but when building a wood lure for musky or pike it makes sense to use epoxy.
