This is a new shape for me. It's a 4 inch crank bait made from poplar. It was extremely finicky to get it to run properly. I spent a lot of time messing with both the lip shape/size and line tie position. The action is a tight wobble. I put a couple more together after I figured this one out.

I'm trying to get some different paint jobs rolling also. Lately I seem to be in a rut with what I know works on the fish, but that gets old in the paint booth and it's nice to have something new that the ski's may not have seen before. What looks good to us doesn't always look good to the fish. At least that's what I keep telling myself when I kick out a mediocre paint job. Got to keep it fresh. Hope you like.
