Cadman /BLT Just got around to melting all the painted lead. Did it out side and fluxed it and poured it into a muffin pan, worked great thanks for the down wind advice Hawkman

I was given a bunch of soft lead that is painted. Should I take the paint off before I melt it into smaller chunks or if I flux it will that take care of it ? Thanks

I have never poured lead before and have learned a lot from this site on techniques and safety. Would it be wise for me to start with some thing simple to pour or just jump right into spinner baits ? Is it all just about the same ? Thanks Lee

I picked up a few 12 lb. lead weights for down riggers at a garage sale can I use the to pour spinnerbait heads ?
