  1. that helps a ton thanks. I just finished my fluid bed prototype. I stuck 3 pager vibrate motors on the 3" coupler. After busting a few motors and frying a transformer it works. I put springs on the cap so it shakes and has the air. I might do 3 more motors, there less than a dollar so it's not bad. Doesn't work as good as a board with springs and a palm sander bolted on, but it's smaller. No more stiring and powder coat volcanos.
  2. Well I found that the cloth shop vac bags are about bullet proof. I also re designed my fluid bed. But I would still like to find the stuff that TJ's tackle uses on there cups. I guess I can keep buying there's. I have a bad cup from them, the PVC is warped. I called them up and tried to get them to tell me were to get the material for the bottom. Didn't work.
  3. So what works best? I started out with 3" PVC. I stuck it on the mill and routed out a shelf on the inside of the PVC to glue in whatever material I find. Then I found out a 3" knock out just placed over a 3" PVC locks in a coffee filter drum tight. Problem is it just volcano's the powder paint, and when my weedguard pin fell out, it went through.
  4. Does anyone know were I can find the material used, and what it is called for the breathable membrane on the bottom of fluid bed cups? I have been searching for along time. Google brought me to this sight, but nobody has stated what it is. I had a guy at a store tell me it is unobtainium. That didn't help.
