I started with Google, because that’s what you do when you’re clueless. Typed in “free V-Bucks” and got slammed with a million shady sites. The first one I clicked was like a digital circus—flashing “CLAIM 10,000 V-BUCKS NOW” banners, pop-ups I couldn’t close, and a timer trying to make me panic. It wanted me to “verify” by entering my Fortnite account info. Uhh, no way. I’m not letting some hacker take over my cousin’s account. I closed that tab so fast my phone started lagging.

Then I tried one of those “complete offers for V-Bucks” sites. They’re like, “do surveys, get free V-Bucks!” Sounded like it could work. I spent like 35 minutes answering questions about what soda I drink, if I’d buy a new phone, and whether I care about eco-friendly toothpaste. It was so boring I started daydreaming about my shift ending. After all that, it said I “didn’t qualify” for the V-Bucks. Are you serious? I just gave you my entire beverage history, and you’re gatekeeping my codes? I checked the site’s reviews later, and yeah, it’s a scam that just collects your data. So that was a fun way to kill my break.
