I am currently working on some jigs. i'm looking for 1 - 1.5oz. saltwater weedless football jig heads. does anyone know where I can find the heavy ones with some quality hooks? The saltwater ate through the freshwater ones I had. LedHed Posted October 11, 2005 Report Share Posted October 11, 2005 Gamakatsu makes up to a 7/0 90 degree hook and they fit most do-it molds. Owner has a real good hook also but you might have to slightly modify your molds. Mustad and eagle claw have their "saltwater" hooks. I really like the VMC perma steel but they are getting harder to buy. Check out eBay for used molds.
