I agree with reg8r they work but are really soft sometimes one hit and they are toast, having a very bad reputation for fishing in my family I'm always getting infomercial stuff bought for me so I use the stuff and it works. The new one that I got the bionic minnow, it came with a bionic fish finder, they work. Now I'm waiting for the snake to show up on my birthday or christmas. Will give a report on that one if it shows, all it will take is a niece or nephew seeing it and saying buy that for Uncle John.

Go to del-mart.com lurecraft.com and check out what they have in the way of molds and if you see something you like ask for a bait sample a good used microwave and a starter kit is all you need. Both companies have them and are easy to deal with.

Try a mixture of 3 to 1 MEK and Acetone, thats what we used as a mixture to prime and clean PVC pipe so you wouldnt see the purple goop smeared all over the place. Pure acetone not nail polish remover.MEK is what Ive used for years to clean all kinds of spray equipment even ones left dirty and hardened for weeks. Dump in the parts tub for a couple of days or a week and everything is melted or dissolved.

It is Methyl Ethyl Ketone, also known as MEK. It is extremely flamable and the fumes are extremely dangerous it is a killer without proper ventalation and precautions. The only way to ship is by truck or rail for 5 gallon cans, as a pipe cement or primer it can be shipped UPS but is diluted. I used it as a cleaner and thinner when painting steel with Epoxy paints and used an external air supply, it actualy melts the coat of paint your are applying into the previous coat. Im going to try and play with Del's colorants, what I think happens is the MEK melts the colorant or tint into the bait evaporates and the plastic melts itself back together. Normal surgical gloves will disolve in it, we used real rubber gloves for protection from the stuff.

This thing is unbelievable, Del Help!!!!!!! is this possible without injecting? Hope the link works. =

I have 3 5gallon cans of the stuff and have been trying to figure out what to do with it, now I know thanks for the info, its time to play. Be careful, in pure form and left open in a confined space you will be dead in one breath.

The key to respirators is having replaceable Organic Vapor cartridges which is needed for plastics, along with activated carbon pre filters. The cartridges only last for about 40 hours use, as long as you put them in a zip lock bag. I also put mine in a coffee can. If left on a hook or the work bench the cartridges are only good for about three days. I keep an index card taped to the can and use tick marks to keep track of elapsed usage, along with installation date.
