  1. If someone could post a pic of one,I want to be sure. But I have an OLD Manns lure in the package. It really does not have much info on the pack. There is a pic of tom mann and pretty much says Tom Manns bait or something like that.It looks like the 20+ from the side profile but head on,it is narrow.Let me know if this is what he is looking for.
  2. This is one of my big, round balsa baits.

    Big Balsa bait

This is one of my big, hand carved balsa baits I make.
  4. I live on Lake Guntersville so I tend to make and fish large baits. The tail is sloped down at the hanger and the shadow in the pic must be why it looks bit. When I 1st started making cranks,I wanted something different than the others out there so I made some of my own patterns and went from there with a knife and sand paper. And they do catch bass.
  5. I was doing a tackle show a few years back and one of the guys in the booth next to me had some japan baits and such.He gave me some with the barbs outside.I opened one pack and never bothered using the others.Awful.
  6. One of my 1st tournament wins came many years ago on the 1st crankbait I ever painted. It was a great feeling. That is still the ugliest DD22 I have in my box,but It was my first and it is always fun to look at my baits today vs the 1st one.Congrats on the bass!
  7. I have a red Shimano but I dont know which size it is.I dont keep it in the Triton 3700 box or I would know what size it was.It is piled up with other boxes in the rod locker full of cranks.I will have a look tomorrow and see if it is a 3600.
  8. I put up the 1st couple of pics of some of my work today in the gallery. The little RC 0.5 is something I did this morning and there is another pic of 2 of my big balsa cranks that I make also.Let me know what ya thinks:cry:
  9. Here are 2 of my bigger Balsa Baits I make. The Manns 20+ in the middle is there to show how big these Balsa baits are.I did not put a fancy paint job on these baits because I was wanting to get them done and fish them. The action of these baits is what I am so proud of.

    Lucky Craft

Here is one of my Lucky Craft RC 0.5 baits I painted.
  11. I have a few cranking holes near a dam that are humps. The top of the humps are 23-25'.When I have to get on the bottom there,I always go with a Manns 30+ and 8lb braid.I use a different reel for that because I want a round baitcaster that holds a ton of line that I can cast a mile. The 8lb power pro braid and that bait gets me to 25'.It has the diameter of 1 or 2lb mono.Just be careful when grabbing the line or clenching knots as it is thin and cuts like a razor.
  12. My balsa baits have the tie on the nose and touching the bill on most.I get a much tighter action with this. The farther the eye is from the bill the wider the wobble I get.I dont make anything that goes deeper than 7' but I am pretty sure every deep crank I have ever fished had the tie down the bill.
