  3. Hi Jeep, As a fellow Dutchie I've had the same experiences. I went from spraycanclear to etex to d2t to one part pu and now back to etex I used d2t unthinned and found it cures way too fast to clear a bait and get an evened out result. However I read somewhere overhere that d2t can be thinned with acetone so maybe I'll give it another shot. I know where you can get it in the Neths, just be prepared to empty your wallet Shoot me a pm here or at RVN. Grtz Paul
  4. Great stuff Diemai. Interesting model, I've never seen it before. Looks like these spoons deliver quite a riot underwater! Grtz Paul

    Dutch Baits

A new longer model. To keep the weigth low I made these baits a bit slender then I use to do. The upper one is 16cm/52gr and the one below is 15cm/48gr. Weigthed close to suspension. Grtz Paul

    Surface bait

Thanks Diemai, Indeed, well for me, a new type of design. Though the bait is slow sinking it can be fished in the surface. This is what I like about the action. Cast, bait sinks slowly, then when you start bringing it in it comes to the surface. Then let it rest, it sinks a bit and then again bringing it in. Great way of fishing/action. Grtz Paul

    Surface bait

This bait can be fished in the surface or just below. Great for pike but also suitable for sea bass. This bait needs some practice, once you've got it down, great toy to play with. Grtz Paul

    Steady Glider

Glider for deeper waters. Sinks a bit faster in comparison with most of my other baits. 7" and 62 grams. Grtz Paul

    New Gliders

They are almost 6" and weigh about 50 grams. Gliding action and wobble while sinking. Grtz Paul
  15. Hi Jed, Thanks for explaning. Tried it once just like you said but I couldn't get such thin lines. Trying again soon! Grtz Paul
  16. Awesome, I like the shape and colours. How did you do those vertical lines? Did you paint them? They look like tiny cuts with an exacto though! Very nice! Grtz Paul
  17. I fooled around with some molds and plastic and replaced one of my wooden models with a plastic one. This is the actual "prototype" which I painted & clearcoated last night. The specs are the same; 6", slowsinking glider, about 55grams. Grtz Paul

    Squirly crank

Hi Dieter,Thanks for the kind words. I took this twistertail to the water this afternoon and it showed me a nice little secret. This bait is so cool to fish with. It can be jerked and spinned great.I found out this bait is also awesome to fish like a diver type jerk, like the suicks etc. That is when this bait truly comes alive.Cast it and then pull a few times then let it rest and the bait wobbles towards the surface (yes it floats while at rest) the pull again, let it rest etc. Fun fishing and refreshing technique. Two pikes couldn't resist... Grtz Paul

    Squirly crank

First time I worked with a twistertail. Action is above expectations, usually I'm not that fond of twistertails. Fierce action. Length is 5.5" and weight is 52 grams including the tail. Grtz Paul Holland

    Dutch Crankbait

Finished some crankbaits today. This one is about 7" long and weighs 50 grams. Dives up to 3 meters. Going to give this one a thorough test in a trolling session soon. Grtz Paul Holland
  23. The magic moments.... I like pictures of handbuild baits best where they belong, between jaws! The third one on one of my latest baits. Grabbed hard from up front. Satisfaction after the hard work we all love Grtz Paul Holland

    Another pair....

Just grabbed these two of the drying line. The same specs as the ones below with a different colour scheme. What I found out is that painting in taints works very well for me. I start shooting with one colour and then leave that colour in the cup and start mixing it with the next colour(s) untill I like it. Then I move on to the next colour mixing them with the first two. This way I don't spoil so much createx anymore and sometimes the colours that appear are very nice. Found out to write down all the mixtures as well, otherwise reproducing a colour will be a pain in the ... I hope you like them!
