Hey on your powder paint. Buy two cheap toaster ovens. Preheat your jigs to 190 degrees for twenty minutes. Then dip em and put em in the other oven for curing. Normally around 400 degrees for twenty minutes. It bakes em so hard you cant beat the finish off with a hammer.

I was pouring shakey head jigs the other night and i had problems with the mold filling out. Should i take the heat down a bit when pouring? Does that even make a difference. I had some with holes in them. I had some that didnt pour all the way. Had to melt down several and reboot. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!!

Ok well i had the same problem a few days ago with my shakey head do it mold. All of mine are 3/16 ounce flat eye. I have the best equipment. Bought lead online at lee. Im getting holes in the lead and had to melt the lead off of some hooks and repour. Dunno im new to it all.

Dude your missing the boat if your not using fluorocarbon. Screw braid. Its a pain to use, fades, way to noticeable. I like pline halo. You could tow your truck with twenty lb halo. Its the stoutest line ive ever used, and holds up well. I dont know what your preferred method of fishing is. Topwater you have to use mono. Try some suffix mono. It doesnt cost that much more to go first class!!

I have trouble sometimes with the paint not wanting to stick where i doctor up that area. Any thoughts? Im talking about powder paint.
