  1. I use baitjunky myself but always up for trying new plastic. Anyone know if anyone makes a elastic style plastic like zman?
  2. Sorry for posting this in the main forum. But also wanted to know where everyone goes for 32786 mustad hooks? Just made a order for 100 hooks at about $14 but then shipping kills ya. End up spending $20 by the time it's said an done. If anyone has any, or knows the best places as far as price. Let me know. Thanks.
  3. Looking for some jigs hooks. 32786 4/0 and 3/0. Let me know what you have and how much. Thanks
  4. Got mine at kmart and Walmart has it cheaper then anywhere else.
  5. Hmmm... Guess I was using too much of the gel then. I was worried the weed guards would pull out if someone tugged on it. I'll try it again. Thanks
  6. Been trying a few different kinds of glue, and seems the 2 part epoxy works best. Clear and strong, but pricey and mixing is a bit of a pain. What's everyone else use? Also tried loctite gel and it dries white. Don't use that!!! Thanks
  7. I'm looking for a few hundreds right now. Maybe upwards of 1000 if I have to buy that many. I'm going to look into that eagle claw hook. Thanks.
  8. Looking for the best price shipped on some 32786 jig hooks. Everywhere I seem to look, they want more for shipping then the hooks are worth. Lol Thanks
  9. Unless you can recommend a good flipping heavy cover jig mold? I usually use 3/8oz and a big trailer.
  10. Yeah, I always stayed away from the eagle claws just because of them being the lower end of hooks. But if you recommend those for the football mold over the mustad, they shook be good. I usually only use mustad, owner, trokar, and gammys.... But I'm open to try others if the quality is the same or better.
  11. Thanks. I haven't poured a jig yet, but I know exactly what I'm looking for. Just don't know what some of the weed guard sizes are and what type of skirt keepers to get.
  12. I just started getting into Jig making and started getting supplies. I'm looking for a football or Arkie style jig that takes a EWG hook. Any of these around? Also with a weed guard. Everything I find has regular straight shank hooks. Thanks
  13. Nobody yet. I haven't got my logo made yet. If you find a good place, let me know.
  14. Oh, another thing.... Baitjunkys came TO ME, asking me if I wanted to try any samples. I got some soft, and some medium, and I tell you guys what..... The soft plastic (haven't tried to medium yet) is AWESOME!!! Heats clear, and had 0 bubbles in the plastic. Feels great, and durable. I'll be buying this from now on. He is also going to do 5 gallon "kits" if you order 5 gallons you can mix and match, as he is doing all 1 gallon jugs. So I will be ordering 3 soft, and 2 medium. I don't think ANYONE else does that.
  15. I do like Bears products, as I had no problems with them except a few molds the sprue hole was not the right size... but I asked him about a free sample of plastisol because I wanted to try a little bit of Calhoun (4-8oz), with a $250 order, and he declined. When I make my baits, im always giving out free samples, and then those people come back for more. Then they buy them. That's how it works....
  16. Baitjunkys.com they are new, but starting to add more and more stuff in the store they also have a forum.
  17. I am looking for something close to the kinky beaver, since I use them a lot. I seen this, and it looks a little too close.... Should I be worried about buying this mold and when I get legal to sell my baits, be worried about selling these? I know RI has strict copyrights, and figured if this is stretching any of those, it would have been takin off by now. What do you think? http://www.basstackle.com/538_Creature_p/538-kj-1.htm
  18. I was going to order 200 laminate bags from him along with some colors and glitters, but noticed the price for 200 bags was $1 MORE then ordering 2x100. Usually the more you buy, the cheaper per bag...this was the opposite. I tried to contact him, or anyone by posting on his forum, and gave it a few days to see if there was a error. I never heard any replies (been 2 weeks now), so just went somewhere else. Customer service is big for me. If you don't have 10 seconds to answer my quick question, then i'll take my business elsewhere. Im getting ready to spend a big chunk of change here soon on stocking up on new molds, plastic, and color, and found a new place to go, with a GREAT customer service.
  19. Thanks guys. I am getting bags at baitjunkys.com and also getting custom sticker labels made for the bags. It's just easier for me to do it that way.
  20. I was about to order, but they want to charge me $16 for shipping on 100 bags. Wow...
  21. Looking to buy 100-200, maybe more laminate bags to hold 5" stick baits, 4" craws, and 6.5" swim worms. Where is the best place to get them, for the best prices? Anyone have any for sale? Thanks
  22. I think its the 538 creature which looks like something I wont mention.... I was going to get it in a 4 cavity, but looks very similar, and could cause trouble. Check it out and let me know what you think....
  23. Is it true that I can claim everything used to make baits? Plastic, colors, scents, bags, even my electric bill? If so...what type of return on that stuff would I get back? Like I said before though, I dont want to do this for the little money I would make to loose out or not make it worth it. But if claiming all supplies will make it worth it alone, it sounds like it may be a good idea. One guy at work here makes flies. He said he makes out just as good claiming materials and claiming miles on his truck since he delivers to many places. He said the flies alone don't pay much, but he makes out better claiming everything used to make and deliver. Sort of hard to believe.
