  1. I am a hard bait guy but really like the mad dad 3.5" craws from the do it mold. Does anyone know where I can purchase those baits without buying the molds and all? Thanks
  2. I currently use the spinnerbait packaging from lurepartsonline http://www.lurepartsonline.com/Online-Store/Lure-Display-Containers/Spinnerbait-Display-Containers.html but they are sooo expensive. Does anyone have a place where you can get these cheaper? I like this style as it fits my baits well. Thanks Jason 'grundlman'

  9. There is a very small area of mold material between the head of the bait and the screw lock holder......that small part pretty much wore out very quick
  10. Thanks guys That is a good point Dave I used the high heat silicone that is red colored and the area where the screw lock 'throat' was between the coil and the head on my shakey head wore out quickly
  11. Has anyone ever tried to use high temp Lab Metal to make molds? I have a custom design I tried to use high temp silicone but the mold only lasted about 30 pours. This looks to have the consistency of jb weld or similar Thanks Jason http://www.eastwood.com/lab-metal-24-oz.html?fee=7&fep=870&SRCCODE=GA220010&adpos=1o1&creative=83580266340&device=c&matchtype=&network=g&gclid=CjwKEAiA18mzBRCo1e_-y_KLpXISJACEsANG42fW25uLhsUZSlmqjmaVmN1tuvMBmtF8TaXZd41GMhoCNA3w_wcB
  12. Did anyone ever make the 32768 in 3D? If not I think I am going to wing it and go for it
  13. This is awesome gents! Thank you all for your help. I started working but did not get very far on the 32786 hook....sounds like you guys have a much better process.
  14. Those are exactly what I am looking for. I am just interested in having the proper diameter and bends in order to make a new mold. I am looking to use the mustad 32768 or 91768 in 3/0 and 4/0 for my new jig heads. I am in no way proficient in rhino, but I can do decent and we have some interns that are good at it. If no one has these I will share if interested once I make them. Thanks for all of the help and support. Grundlman aka Jason
  15. Anyone know if there is a resource out there for 3d models of mustad hooks. I am fairly proficient with rhino and have some designs created but without an accurate hook model it will do me no good. I have reached out to mustad and they have told me they do not have such a thing. I talked to one company about scanning them in but that was waaaay out of my budget. I am thinking of just winging it on my own but want to see if anyone else has went down this road before I do. Thanks Grundlman
  16. thanks guys....i could not find my last order form to see what size my last ones were

  18. All, I would first like to thank everyone here for all the help you have been to me. I recently got my website up and running and would like any comments or criticisms you may have. I do know that I need better pics of my spinnerbaits and that will be happening this weekend. I am also going to get some video of each bait once we get a day nice enough out to do that. www.grund-l.com thanks for taking a look Jason
  19. In the past I have always used the red/white/black 3d eyes for my spinnerbaits. Just looked at lureparts and jannsnetcraft and cannot find them available in 5/32". Does anyone know where to find these? Thanks Jason
  20. Thanks for the help guys. I am guessing I can get the jb weld putty at Wally world?
  21. I need to temporarily modify one of my molds to make some custom prototypes. I have tried the poly clay and it will not harden up. Anyone have any suggestions? I would like to be able to use it then use a dremel or scraper to get it out of there. Thanks Jason
