  1. Has anyone ever tried to use high temp Lab Metal to make molds?

I have a custom design I tried to use high temp silicone but the mold only lasted about 30 pours.

This looks to have the consistency of jb weld or similar

    Thanks

    Jason

  2. Those are exactly what I am looking for. I am just interested in having the proper diameter and bends in order to make a new mold. I am looking to use the mustad 32768 or 91768 in 3/0 and 4/0 for my new jig heads.

I am in no way proficient in rhino, but I can do decent and we have some interns that are good at it.

If no one has these I will share if interested once I make them.

Thanks for all of the help and support.

  3. Anyone know if there is a resource out there for 3d models of mustad hooks. I am fairly proficient with rhino and have some designs created but without an accurate hook model it will do me no good. I have reached out to mustad and they have told me they do not have such a thing. I talked to one company about scanning them in but that was waaaay out of my budget.

I am thinking of just winging it on my own but want to see if anyone else has went down this road before I do.

    Thanks

  4. All,

I would first like to thank everyone here for all the help you have been to me. I recently got my website up and running and would like any comments or criticisms you may have.

I do know that I need better pics of my spinnerbaits and that will be happening this weekend. I am also going to get some video of each bait once we get a day nice enough out to do that.

  5. I need to temporarily modify one of my molds to make some custom prototypes. I have tried the poly clay and it will not harden up. Anyone have any suggestions? I would like to be able to use it then use a dremel or scraper to get it out of there.

    Thanks
