Hi all. I am Ted, a new forum member from Central Florida. I work in front of a computer all day, but I am a DIY addict. I tied flies as a teen with a little model A vice and whatever fur or feathers that fell prey to my pellet gun. I got into fishing rod building in my 30s after finding my fishing passion again after many years. I got back into fly tying but I acquire my materials at a store. From there, I started painting crank baits from blanks. The addiction took me to buying a lathe to turn baits but I got sidetracked with turning pens. While I still do that, I am getting back to lure making and I am starting to get into turning baits on the lathe with the ultimate goal to be turning a large wooden rat, wake bait type thing. I have ideas, that's usually a bad sign. I look forward to learning as much as I can from the site and participating where I can.
