Ken-Spin
I powdered coated some jigs that I plan to tie bucktails. I painted the mouth and eyes with lacquer lure paint. Am I good to go? I really hope so, or do I need to clearcoat or something else.
BLT
Did you bake the jig after the powder coat? That's all you need to do, THEN do your painting. I have read others doing it, but myself, I would not bake the jig after the lure paint was on it.

If these jigs won't come into contact with soft plastics you're ok, but a clear coat would likely make the lacquer highlights more durable in addition to keeping them from reacting with softbaits. defish
