  1. We can make a custom mold for you to if you can't find one. Just let us know how we can help and we do whatever we can. Kim
  2. Thanks everyone for posting your opinions about this. I will check into different cap but please keep in mind we do not "seal" the bottles. They are glass bottles and we hand tighten the lids. I first started carrying this paint because I had so many requests for it and nobody could find it. I will continue carrying it. Del is right when he says there has to be a certain time constraint put on returns. We have limitations as to how long we can have a product before returning it to our suppliers too. Most of the time it is within the same time frame we give our customers. I really appreciate all the feed back and appreciate all of you as customer!!! Kim
  3. I will add to our web site about making sure the lids/threads are clean and tight and that the shelf life will be shortened if not and if it not going to be used right away to make sure the lids are tight before storing. The information on this paint is very limited and we do not use it in our own operation. Happy customers are important to us and we do the best we can to make you guys happy but we have to put a limit on what we can do also. I hope all of you know that. Kim
  4. Guys - I'm sorry for the trouble some of you are having with the paint. I did contact my supplier some time ago about the paints drying in the bottles and told them the bottles and lids I was using and was told they were fine but that the lids had to be put on really tight and there couldn't be residue on the top of the bottle, threads or lid. I don't know what more I can do. If anyone has any suggestions, you all know I am open to them! I work with customers but there is a limit we have to put on returns and when a product is a year old, I don't know of any company who would take the product back. We do have a 15 day return policy and I even bend that a little.
  5. This is Kim with LureCraft. Shawn just finished a larger ribbon tail worm. I just haven't gotten it on the web site yet. If you would like to see a sample, contact me and we can send you one.
  6. This is Kim, with LureCraft. I will send you a sample if you want to see it. Give me a call on Monday or email me at kimstraley@lurecraft.com
  7. Sorry Justin, I was working on the 2009 catalog and wrote the wrong name, I apologize. I am Kim from LureCraft and wasn't looking for a fight either- it just bothers me when someone has an issue and don't come to us first. We are very fair in our business and try to make things right with every customer. You did bring up something though that has caught my eye - you said "plastic bodies" and we don't carry plastic bodies.
  8. PLEASE do not use on an open flame as the plastic is flamable if heated in direct contact with the flames.
  9. Jason - I prefer if you have an issue with our products, you let me know personally. Anyone will tell you we are fair. I do not make crank baits and the bodies we carry are the same as those highly sought after in our area so if they don't work or there is a quality issue, I would like to know about it instead of reading about it on here............thank you!!!
  10. You guys are welcome!!! We are as sorry to have to change as you are because we know you guys don't like to have to change something that works and we don't either but this is out of our control. If you need some help tweaking, give Shawn a call and he will be more than happy to help you.
  11. Hey guys, I'm "chiming in". Yes, we did change the green pumpkin. It takes several colors to make green pumpkin and a little pigment goes a long way. Some of these pigments have been around since the beginning of LureCraft (over 40 years ago). We are starting to run out of some of them and when we go to re-order, the color we need is no longer made so we have to choose something else. One of our suppliers has come in to work with Shawn to make them as close as possible but it is very difficult. Remember, we use these colorants for our Poor Boy's product too and want to keep them as close as possible. If he has had to tweak anything, I am sure he will share that information with any of you. I do know we do not use straight green pumpkin and never have for our baits. I do not have time to get on here as much as I would like and I am starting to work on the 2009 catalog (I will be adding a whole line of fly tying products) so my time here will be even more limited. If you guys have any issues, good or bad, PLEASE call us. We want you guys to be happy!!! Thanks!!! Kim
  12. Hey Jeff!!! Yes, it comes in all three formulas and they are as close as you'll ever get to the current formulas we have. Colors and everything stay the same. We have been testing it since the first of the year and the baits are the same today as they were the day we poured them. The cost will close to the same as what it is now.
  13. No, you heat it the same way as normal. The only thing we have found is the baits may be a little on the sticky feeling side until they cure for about 24 hours.
  14. I will be happy to send you a sample of plastic if you place an order. Also, we are coming out with a phthalate free plastic the first of the year (more inviromentally friendly) and would like for you guys to try it and give us feedback. Anyone placing an order, please request a sample of the new plastic to try. Thanks!!! Kim
  15. All of these guys have good points. If you still can't get it, call and talk with my husband, Shawn, and he will be happy to help you!!! The keys are to have the plastic a little hotter than usual and to pour a little slower than usual too.
