  1. if you want a mold made for you custom.. chuck is the man.. He made mine quickly and sent laminating plates without even me asking for them.. The mold he made for me pours awesome and my buddies love them.
  2. The one in the pic is the 3.5. It's the best jig trailer out there. The 4.5 is what my previous post was about.
  3. Lsbaitmolds makes it. It's a hell of a bait works good flipping or on biffle hardheaded. Pours great every time. I can't pour enough.
  4. JMS I have the same exact mold and have poured a ton of baits through it.. NO problems whatsoever.. I even shoot laminates with it. I pour it hot and leave it standing up to cool.I have had zero problems with shrinkage and bubbles but again i leave the mold standing up to to cool. I use MF plastics 5.0 plastisol and their 464 plastic which is half salt water half regular plastic and it pours great for me. I have also remelted zoom, reaction innovations and powerbait and repoured through this mold with no problems. Hope this helps.
  5. On our lake here in oklahoma some of the multicolored skirts work WAY better than others..
  6. I am looking to order a swimbait mold or two and was wondering if anyone had any favorites.. I was looking at basstackle.com and found a couple I liked one that was called the swim ripper. Has anyone poured this mold and if so pros cons?

    Reel ?

Hard not to go with the quantum reels.. They hold up to abuse very well.. and as before stated they will sometimes send new reels out to replace old ones. I fish the new exo and smokes and love them.. I have had some of the energys and accurists for a long time and most of them are still smooth as silk.
  8. What is the best worm oil to use when putting the baits in the bag.. I have found it very difficult to get the baits in the bag without some type of oil for they are sticky sticky sticky..
  9. I posted earlier about not pourning in the house.. I went in because of the wifey.. Then went to the hospital with a severly burnt hand.. She had me cover the counters and then i cldnt see the edge.. Put hot plastic down on the edge it began to fall and i reached to grab it out of natural reaction.. ALWAYS wear gloves and eyewear.. I was not and spent the last two weeks nursing 2nd degree burns on my hand..
  10. I buy from basstackle.com, Lakeside baits.com my personal favorite, Lurecraft.com, Bearsbaits.com, JannsNetcraft, Mudhole.com... These should keep you busy for a minute or two.
  11. I pour my favorite crappie bait by hand and love to do it but have a ton of injection molds for bigger bass fishing soft plastics. I like using both but note to you boys out there that have a wife wanting you to be home more and not out in the shop making tackle.. WHEN YOU GO IN THE HOUSE TO DO IT DONT COVER THE COUNTERS.. i did and put a melted plastic jar on the edge of the counter and walla BURNT HAND.. So words of advice would be to always wear gloves and stay in the shop..
