  5. tin and such are alot more per pound to pour than lead and somewhat harder to find monty
  6. to figure out current exchange rates with any country in the world to ours use this web site: xe.com works great and they keep it very very current to the lastest changes in the dollar rate!!!!!!!!!
  7. i use a cast iron pot with a pipe out of the side and a good old fashioned camp fire. the lead runs off and that crap tends to stay in the pot. monty

  16. big brown, i have the catalog in front of me and i dont see any paint in the catalog. they have prizm tape, lure eyes, soft molded 3-d eyes, and mylar skirts. monty

  18. jphillips, i would be interested, tell me more about the molds you make, the size of jigs, more than one type of jig? ect. thanks, monty
  19. what type of equipment is needed to spin cast? and how spendy is it? i would like to make a few thousand of them maybe more. also looking for a easy way to make alot of tear drop jigs as well. i want to make a few thousand of them as well. i use tear drops all year with very good sucess. thanks , monty
  20. Richoc, where would one get a mold for the glow bodies and ants? also "I Have a master molder maker here that makes them. Has tooling for most of the blades shapes out there. Large ones that are used for painting the jigs also, like 100 at a time. Or same ones to just do them for your self. Are you guys interest if so let me know and I will give you more info.   21. seilber, have a small amount of molten lead in the pot and something under the spout to catch the hot lead. take a paper clip or a peice of wire, make a 90 degree bend in it. put the wire up to the hole and open the spout slowly and put the wire in the hole and move the wire in and out while moving it in the diamater of the hole. pull the wire out and let some molten lead flow out to flush out the crap you have just dislodged. monty

  23. most tear drop jigs are little ice blades soldered to the small hooks using a hemostat and a solding iron. thats why the back of those jigs are crome on the one side. monty
