  1. Hey guys I have 20 each of 4" and 4.5" walking type topwaters for sale. $1.50 ea plus $6 shipping USPS Priority. Paypal only. Email me at unclebass@yahoo.com Thanks Bob
  2. For smaller amounts syringes work very well. I got a couple from Jann's and use them with Etex with no problems.
  3. I use Mod Podge from Micheal's. One coat usually does it.
  4. I use the gloss, and heat set with a heat gun on low.
  5. I use several different acrylics and have had some problems with DN wrinkling and in some cases removing the paint completely. I now finish with Createx clear and heat set it before dipping in DN and it works great.
  6. Looking at the prices on Creative Wholesale they are almost the same cost. My question would be, is it as durable as Etex. Being harder it seems it may crack like D2T when smacked on a rock. Quicker drying is a plus though.

There is not enough bill left to use. These aren't the usual bill like a bandit they actually look like circuit board material. I'm not sure they aren't added after molding the body. If they were glued in how would you remove the old one?

Any of you guys have tips on replacing broken bills on Lucky Craft cranks? I have several 1.5 and 2.5 that the bill has broken clear off or broken off a corner. Looks like lots of places sell bill and material to make them, just not sure how to remove the remaining parts of the original.
  9. Get a hold of Mike at Vanndalizer he had a big jointed one that is awesome.
  10. Just set the lid on and lift it up just enough to get the Bloxigen tube in,spray and seal. I've been using Blox for 6mo on DN and it is great, no skinning over and no ruined batches.

  18. Some of the guys on here have switched to a product by Target Coatings. I've looked at their web site but I still have a little DN left to use. Maybe someone who has used it will enlighten us!
  19. I have 3 different KDV reels from different years. They are great reels but aren't as durable as I would like. If you haven't degreased the bearings you need to use a good solvent and blow them dry with compressed air. If you don't remove the old oil completely the new stuff isn't as effective. I use Ardent reel butter oil, seems to work at least as well as the hot sauce. If you want to upgrade check out biggreenfish.com. They have upgrade kits for most reels.
  20. I am drilling through the plastic into the lead belly weight. So the epoxy filler is much lighter than the lead. I have already down sized all the hardware as far as I want at this point.
  21. I ordered mine through Amazon thinking it would be safer/quicker. No such luck, 5 weeks before I got it even though the description said "in stock and ready to ship". It is a nice brush, but there is no excuse for poor service!
  22. You are correct on the drilling part. Use silicone or some thing to fill in most of the hole or the epoxy will run into the lure body. I had to use some on one bait on both holes as there was a slight gap between the ballast and the plastic. I suppose you could use any type of filler as the epoxy will seal it. Probably should wait for the filler to cure before using the epoxy.
  23. Yes, these are from Predator baits. If you drill most of the way through just fill them with epoxy, if you go all the way through fill with a little silicone and finish with epoxy. Make sure you cover the silicone with epoxy or paint won't stick to it.
  24. Here's what works for me. Drill an 1/8th in hole in the front of the ballast weight all the way through the lead, then a second hole just behind the first most of the way through. Plug and fill holes. I finished with one coat of DN dipped and #2split rings with #6 trebles. Bait stays horizontal and sinks very slowly.
