  7. Have a question for the group I have painted hundreds of jig heads and have never used black up until today and what I'm coming across is that I'd say 10 or maybe 15 jig heads came out to almost a matte finish any reason why I am using fluid beds but I'm thinking I don't have enough air cuz it's not moving around like any of my other paints could that be the reason why that this is happening. When I put my jig head over the burner I'm waiting until it gets a gloss finish like I normally do with any of my other colors but I'm unsure why this is happening Thanks for the help.

  11. If I get a 5 gallon bucket of plastic how many 4in tubes do you think I could get out of it. That bait shop wants to buy them from me and trying to figure out a price. But I have no clue how many tubes you would get. They would be injected not dipped. Thank in advance

  14. I know this is also a older post but don't know about heat proofing the bondo but for the warping you can add small metal rods the length of the mold inside the bond .also adding fiberglass strands to the mixture after the first coat over the master will also help. we had the same problem making metal castings for model train parts and we found that it helped
  15. I know that this a old post but you can also add liquid resin to the bondo it make it more fluid like cuts down on air bubbles and flows to the details better .. when I pour a mold I always pour the bondo on to a popsicle stick in a very thin stream also helps with air bubbles and start at one corner of the mold hope this helps
