Big Splash Posted May 20, 2003 Report Share Posted May 20, 2003 Just came in from the weekend Fishing Derby(2003) here in my hometown with a first place finish in the Coarse Fish catagory. Big Splash Posted May 26, 2004 Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2004 Fished the hometown derby again this year(2004). Strong winds on the first day didn't stop us from putting the top three fish on the leader board. On the second day blazing sun changed things a bit, and all our fish were bumped from the money positions. On the third, and final day, in the last few hours, my partner brought a good fish to the boat. It managed to put him in second place. This is the third year in a row the Big Splash boat has finished in the money at this derby. This year my boat and a friends' boat used Big Splash Lures exclusively. We boated more than sixty Rainbows and a handfull of coarse fish. Big Splash Lures also donated a tackle box full of handcrafted tackle for a door prize.
