  1. A buddy has given me two molds lately both new & never used. 1 Angling ai super bacon 6 cavity & 1 Del-Mart hand pour big brush hog style mold. I have 2 handpour chunk molds & a 10" worm mold on the way now too. We all need buddy's like this. Lol
  2. This is all I could find when looking for info from bohon. Hopefully it helps
  3. According to Shaun he's not doing custom molds anymore like everyone else I've talked to. If I don't find somebody I'll either buy some identical used molds & cut & join them together or try the bondo or silicone way of doing it. Thanks guys.
  4. Cadman, i was thinking about contacting Bob. Thanks
  5. Does anyone know of anyone that makes a multi cavity worm weight mold with the same size cavitys? I'm wanting 4 to 6 cavitys in 3/8 oz. Thanks
  6. Mark, I'' thinking either plumbers putty or silicone from alumilite then pour resin in it. I'll mold it around the head then when ready pour it full.
  7. Think I'll mold some silicone around an actual bait & go from there.
  8. Do they make a mold for the resin heads? How would a person go about making one? I plan on using jigheads for weight anyway?
  9. Can you pour something like white alumilite casting resin in lead head molds? I'm wanting to make resin heads for Alabama rigs & wondered about this in the do it Alabama head mold. Is there another mold recommended to do this ? If not how would you do it? Thanks
  10. Baitjunkys plastic is as good a deal as you'll find. Leonard(Bugpac) will steer you in the right direction for sure.
  11. What gage would 0.022 be? Thanks
  12. What plastitic for soft plastic swimbaits? I'm wanting to possiby make some to go on alabama rigs. Thanks
  13. I made some out of pin flags. Next is stainless steel spinnerbait wire. I'm going to keep experimenting to see what i can come up with. Thanks guys,
  14. It does work good on a shakey head or Texas rigged either one. It doesn't twist your line like a regular hollow tube either. Do you have any mold you might want to trade for the tube style mold?
  15. If you were making these to use for bass, but there were a lot of striper in the lake what wire would you use? Also would you use stainless spinnerbait wire? I also will be putting loops in with pliers to attach swivels if that makes a difference. Thanks
  16. I bought the solid tube style mold & it is good & Curt answers my questions quickly. I bought the angling ai tube mold & wouldn't care to trade the enforcer for another mold of some kind or sale it one or the other.
  17. I think i'll try the drits blades the next time i order something on ebay or am at harber freight & make a forked handle assembly with some rubber on the handle for comfort. Should work well i would think.
  18. Yes. I saw it once in accessories I think it was. I asked them when I ordered mine just to be sure & they said they had them anyway.
  19. To black just add red glitter to get the black neon & emerald green( or what ever green you have) to get the black emerald. Try a drop at a time of black colorant until you get your base color to suit you & then add glitter or add after you heat your plastic either one. Should be a pretty easy color to make. Post a thread asking for help if you have trouble with it.
  20. Read the stickys at the top of the soft plastic forum. Some very good info there. Also if in doubt don't be afraid to post questions as we will alll try to help. It really isn't as hard as it seems especially with some of the bait makers here to help. Just be prepared to spend some money if you end up deciding it's something you really want to pursue. It kind of goes with the territory. lol I just started back in the spring & i have several injection molds of my favorite baits that we use locally & my buddys get theirs from me which helps offset the cost a little. The best thing is you can have colors no one else has & the fish haven't saw before & nothing is as cool as catching them on baits & colors that you made yourself.
