Saltwater Hardbaits

Recommended Posts

First of all thanks to all of you that post info on this site. I could not have come close to making a few baits if not for the trial and error of the folks before me. But I havn't seen much in saltwater baits primarily inshore. I've made a few of my favorites such as Mirrolure Catch jr and the mirrOminnow and I really like Joetheplumbers designs, check him out in the gallery. So If you've made inshore baits hows about showing them off and share some ideas with other folks. Thanks.

Good news for most of us reds and specks can't tell the diffence between a $20 Kevin VanDam pro series bassmaster whatever and a Joe shmo garage special... :D  The Redfish Magic we get here at walley world are just a souped up spinner bait and work too! But I'd just feel kinda odd throwin one of those fat little crankbaits out on the flats.... :D

Nice baits man. I tell all my" bass fishing only" buddies that if they ever go with me and start catching big Redfish on top water, they'll never go back to bass fishing again.....same goes for finding a school of gator specks. I still love bass fishing tournaments and stuff but my true place now is the salt marsh here in NC. When the bite is on, there ain't nothing better. Keep up the good work and stay salty my friend..
