    Wowzers!

I went to Alibaba.com and holy cow there was a lot of knockoffs of everything we sell here in the us.Some of the titles even said American style. Bunch of cheaters.
  2. Is solarez and gst both moisture cure urethanes? Do they have the same storage issues?
  3. Hmm, that is awesome. Yea I was going thru all of mine and was like I should try and replicate this spinnerbait. I like the flex arm design because u can bring it to the surface and the let it fall and wham they get it everytime. I used to use it like a topwater too and let the blade just break the surface and then let it fall, that flex arm really gives it a good action. It looked like a simple design to make but wasn't for sure of how long and expensive it would be. Good info to know. Thanks, B.
  4. Has anyone in this forum ever tried to replicate an old vintage spinnerbait called the limberneck spinnerbait? I have 2 of them from yrs ago and I have caught some nice fish on them. Luhr Jenson made them and walmart used to sell them.
  5. Hey I daydream all the time, Sometimes I daydream to much and forget what I'm doing, I got a lathe for Christmas so here comes the fun. I got a scroll saw for my birthday. So I am set at least part of the way. The imagination is the key component.
  6. Awesome baits, Glad u are back and ready to rock out some baits. I spend a lot of time on here getting knowledge and I am making my own baits. Bass pro has gotten outrageously expensive these days. Keep the pictures coming and some knowledge.
  7. Very nice, I honestly think it will catch fish. Is this bait wood or plastic? Do u carve your own baits?
  8. U could also try a clear bait with some shad green on the back with black speck on the shoulders, red gills. I have a popper with that kind of set up and I have caught a lot of bass on it.
  9. I clean mine with hot water between colors using a cup and I just dip it in and also back flush it. I will pull the needle back slightly too and work it back and forth to get any paint I missed also. Then when I am finally done for the time being I will break the airbrush down and clean it with one of them small teeth cleaning brushes that looks like a pipe cleaner, then oil the needle and presto fresh clean brush. Now I do buy airbrush cleaner and use it between colors too but only if by mistake leave the paint in the airbrush to long which I have done and I even made the mistake of leaving it overnight one time and boy that stuff is like concrete lol! I hope this helped. Brandon.
  10. That paint looks awesome! Let us know how it turns out.
  11. I didn't see any wire, it must be the kind of foam he uses.
  12. Why can't we email him or something and ask how he did it.
  13. From the looks of it, base color was and then they used netting over the whole bait and then just painted it in sections fading where needed. Then did the stripes last.
  14. There's a guy on ebay too that sells this same item. He's cheaper.
  15. Paul Adams on youtube is a great teacher to, I have watched alot of his videos.
  16. U know, u might be onto something....But what kind of material could it be? He hand paints them frogs and man are they purty! They cost an arm and a leg thou. I wanna know how he gets them too kick like they do and come back to original stature. Hmmm, got the mind juices flowing now. Brandon.
  17. Don't know of a Bill Plummer bass frog...I will look it up thou and see if I can identify the material, Yea them are interesting cause I don't see how u can make a mold for the legs cause they are so thin. Have u ever used one of his frogs?
  18. Has anyone here tried to copy this frog? I would like to know what them legs are made out of?
  19. Ok Boys, I got some Eagle supreme for 19 dollars at home depot it came from another store as a return, So I am gonna give it a shot and see just how good it works.
  20. Ahhh yes, That is good to know. Money these days is hard to come by so wasting it is not an option.
  21. Ok I will take a look, Now I did notice that Amazon sells devcon 2 ton in 6 packs, Sounds like a bargain. Now do make your own stencils to put patterns on your baits? If so what kinda material do u use?
  22. Is there a link where people buy it?
  23. I will go back at lunch tomorrow and check.Have u ever used bob smith clear coat?
