The foil I'm using is ~$6.66 for a roll 3" X 100' which is pretty good price wise at roughly .45 cents a square foot of foil. It sticks good, I just use 3m spray adhesive and a heat gun to dry it and just press it on with my fingers. And Chris for .99 cents I get about 6-9 feet by 1-1 1/2 inch wide but I like it because it comes off the backing easier than the ebay foil and more color choices. The only problem I have found is finding a sealer that wont wrinkle the thin foil. I have been using a mcu called Diamond finish clear made by K.B.S ,you just have to make sure the adhesive you use is completely dry before you clear it or you will get a reaction and wrinkling. These colors are chartreuse, neon orange, neon red, neon blue, neon pink - so as to appear brighter in deep water. The Super Glow colors and UV blast topcoats are what I use to make my saltwater jigs visible at depth. I have never tried Neon colors but so far what I use works. I had my prostaff test some of these foiled jigs last spring. My best prostaffer dropped one down and pulled up a 115# pound halibut on the very first drop. He is sold on foil jigs now. No he's landed bigger fish before. If anybody can do it Charlie can. His actual preference is a spinning reel and a good rod that is not too stiff as it allows for jigging for these fish.
