CS(Component Systems clearcoat,the water based isnt too bad either. If i airbrush jigs,i dont oven cure them,i use the CS. CS Coatings - Epoxy Top Coat Lure & Jig Paint The one on the right.

Used to see a bunch of guys in the chatroom most nights about 7 or 8 oclock.Outdoor Advantage,Kajan,bassan30,bear2111??,Dynomite were regulars most days.I usually laughed my ass off. Havent seen you guys on chat for a while. Where you been???????

Nah,friday the 24th my wife will be in Springfield Illinois on a field trip with the future leaders of America.:eek:She doesnt get home til 9:30 at night. How far to Springfield Mo?????????Theres a little store there i need to check out.

Wouldnt it have been easier to melt them all down,skim the PP off the top and re-pour. I tried the paint stripper thing too. You will probably have to wash them to get any residue off.

Seem to be in a slump thats hard to get out of. After looking in the gallery,most baits in there have a lot of detail,"depth" is how i put it. I started out last year like this,just a two tone job: Now ive progressed to this but still doesnt seem good enough.Any suggestions???? Ive started screwing around with scales and trying to fade in a couple colors but still dont have the "depth" im looking for. Any suggestions??????

I plan on making it this year. Is it o.k. if i bring the better half if shes available and we can ship the kids off a couple of days??????? Either way,im in. Do we bring any of our tools and stuff with us???? Are we doing any pouring of jigs????? Carving crankbaits????????? Pond with fish????????? Drink a couple of beers and shoot the ****???????? Im leaving now..................

I hand sign all of mine using a fine tip Sharpie Marker.I do it in a space of about 1/2x1/4 inch. Dont like gawky labels,but thats just me.

When i airbrush jigs with fluorescent paints,i always use a base coat of white,either textured powder or Createx White.I like my fluorescents FLUORESCENT. Glows,base coat of white but do not bake,either Devcon or CSI Clear coat. Ive tried doing multi colors with no base coat and it just dont work for me.

If you want to use other colors other than powder paint,try Createx Paints.Non Toxic,no smell and a good assortment of colors.I use them through an airbrish but dont see why you couldnt dip em.
